C & D Performance warrants their Super Street Engines to be free from defects in material and workmanship as specified:

All engines: a 1 year/unlimited mile warranty from date of delivery unless specified.

What C & D Performance warrants: 

All internal lubricated parts including pistons, rings, crankshaft, engine block, bearings, camshaft, lifters, timing chain, valves, valve springs, heads, and dampner.  Does not include any other parts other than as part of repair.

NOTE:  Seals and gaskets are replaced only as part of repair.

What is not covered by C & D Performance:
 
1. Bolt on accessories such as carburetor, fuel injection, distributor, ignition, water pump, alternator, power steering, air conditioning compressor, starter, accessory drive systems.  These parts are covered under respective manufacturers warranties and warranty periods may vary.  C & D Performance may act as an agent for these warranties if agreed upon by C & D Performance. 

2.  Engines subject to neglect, abuse, lack of maintenance, collisions, abnormal operation or improper installation.

3.  Operation of the engine with fuels, oils, or lubricants that are contaminated, or are not suitable for the engine such as some synthetics or cheap / bargain oils.

4.  The use of accessories or other bolt on performance parts not manufactured or approved by C & D Performance.

5.  Modifications to engine not approved by C & D Performance.

6.  Use of nitrous oxide.

7.  Engines used for any competition or racing purposes.

8.  Use of superchargers or turbochargers.

9.  Engine failures caused by overheating, lean fuel conditions, poor quality fuel, improper ignition timing, or lack of adequate lubrication.

10.  Service or diagnostic work performed by other individuals or companies unless authorized by C & D Performance.

11.  C & D Performance does not cover parts or gaskets damaged by detonation.

12.  C & D Performance does not assume responsibility for towing charges, lay up time, installation or removal, or any resultant labor charges (unless authorized by C & D Performance) lodging, telephone charges, car or truck rental.

13.  C & D Performance does not warrant damages to a customers vehicle that is engine related.  The buyer assumes full responsibility for entire cost of repairs to, service damage, and / or loss of property.

14.  Thrust bearing failure caused by improper clutch installation or pre-load.

All warranty work must be authorized by C & D Performance.  Any warranty work not performed by
C & D Performance must be performed by a certified mechanic with prior authorization by C & D Performance.

Due to the nature and type of use of high performance engines, C & D Performance retains the right to determine in its sole discretion whether or not any C & D Performance product is covered by warranty.
