About Us
WE BUILD AMERICAN PERFORMANCE
So who are we?
We are hard core gearheads that love what we do. We love the smell of Burnt Rubber in the morning and Nitro-Methane at night. We love the sound of a big block (and small blocks) screaming at 7000 RPM. And we love the sound of a "Righteous" motor that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand on end as it lopes and shakes the fenders loose at idle. OOOOO-HA!
The "C" stands for Chris Forno (AKA "Motorhead") and the "D" stands for Dan Nuffer (AKA "The Nuff"). We have a combined experience of 40+ years building, modifying and enjoying high performance street machines, trucks, bracket drag cars and asphalt circle track street stocks. We made some mistakes in the early years (young, dumb, and stupid) but we survived, learned from it all and it made us better. We like to call these "Character Building Experiences" but some call it wisdom, whatever!
The "C" and "D" have know each other for twenty plus years or so. We were stationed together several times while in the United States Air Force. Chris retired from 26 years of Active Duty Service in June 2006 and Dan retired from 20 years of Active Duty Service in July 1998. We now both reside in Wichita Falls, Texas where we have our shop, raise our families and play with our Hot Rods and Custom Engines.
OUR MISSION:
To consistently deliver satisfaction to our customers through diligence, persistence and attention to detail!
OUR GOAL:
To build the world's finest street engines that are economical, practical and run on pump gas!
OUR PROMISE:
To turn your dreams and desires into reality. We will deliver performance in the never ending pursuit of Gear Head Nirvana!

The future "C and D Shop Truck" soon to be famous. It is a 1967 C-10 that has been slammed all around and sports a late model front suspension with disc brakes. It will have a 495 HP 454 Big Block for motivation and will wear Black Suede with Lime Flames for colors. What a cool way to haul motors around town! Stay tuned.
